The 3000 series aluminum tube is a type of aluminum alloy primarily composed of manganese, which gives it the name Al-Mn alloy. This series is known for its high strength, excellent formability, and good corrosion resistance. It is suitable for anodizing and welding but cannot be strengthened through heat treatment. Its applications range from household kitchenware like pots and pans to heat exchangers in power plants.

3003 aluminum alloy is commonly used in parts that require high corrosion resistance and good weldability. It is ideal for kitchenware, food storage containers, chemical processing equipment, and storage tanks. It also finds use in pressure vessels, pipelines, and other components where durability and ease of fabrication are important. Compared to 1xxx alloys, 3003 offers better strength and weldability, making it a popular choice in various industrial and commercial applications such as utensils, radiators, cosmetic plates, and shipbuilding materials.

3A21 aluminum alloy is specifically designed for aircraft fuel tanks, oil pipe rivets, building materials, and food equipment. As an Al-Mn alloy, it is one of the most widely used anti-rust aluminum grades. While it has low strength—only slightly higher than pure aluminum—it cannot be heat-treated for strengthening. Instead, cold working is often used to enhance its mechanical properties. In the annealed state, it exhibits high plasticity, good semi-cold work hardening, and excellent corrosion resistance. However, it has poor machinability and limited cold work hardening capability, making it suitable for applications requiring good weldability and moderate strength.

3004 aluminum alloy is widely used in color-coated aluminum substrates, shutter materials, decoration, packaging, printing, construction, transportation, and electronics. As an Al-Mn alloy, it is also one of the most common anti-rust aluminum grades. It has relatively low strength and cannot be heat-treated, so cold working methods are typically employed to improve its mechanical properties. It has high plasticity in the annealed condition, good semi-cold work hardening, and excellent corrosion resistance, but it is not easily machinable. It is mainly used for low-load parts that require high plasticity and good weldability, such as mailboxes, fuel conduits, liquid containers, and small parts made by deep drawing.
