SAIC will make its debut at the Beijing Auto Show>
At the 10th Beijing International Automobile Exhibition, Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation (Group) Corp. unveiled its strategic theme for the event: “Fusion, Innovation, and Win-Win Future.†The company showcased its comprehensive capabilities across three core areas: passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, and parts and components.
In the passenger vehicle segment, SAIC's own brands and joint ventures made a strong presence. Roewe, MG, and Ssangyong highlighted their latest achievements in brand development at Hall E4. Meanwhile, Shanghai GM, Shanghai Volkswagen, and SAIC-GM-Wuling displayed new concept cars and production models in Halls E2, W3, and W4 respectively. Additionally, SAIC Motor introduced three new energy concept prototypes in the Group E4 Pavilion, showcasing its commitment to sustainable mobility.
For commercial vehicles, Nanjing Iveco joined the SAIC Commercial Vehicle lineup following the Shangnan cooperation. In the outdoor exhibition hall W14, SAIC exhibited a wide range of commercial vehicles from brands such as Iveco, Yuejin, Hongyan, Huizhong, and Wuling. This marked the largest commercial vehicle display in SAIC’s history, reflecting its growing strength in this sector.
In the parts and components section, SAIC focused on key technologies related to vehicle development, including engines, compressors, constant speed drive shafts, air conditioning modules, electric steering systems, interior and exterior design concepts, panoramic sunroofs, and fuel cell transmissions. These exhibits were displayed in the W7 Pavilion, emphasizing SAIC’s technological leadership.
Through the Beijing International Auto Show, visitors had a clear insight into SAIC’s overall capabilities in passenger cars, commercial vehicles, and components. It also demonstrated the company’s ongoing efforts to build core competitiveness and expand its global operations. This event not only reinforced SAIC’s position in the automotive industry but also highlighted its vision for a more connected and sustainable future.
