This new pumper is the first of two identical units built on a Spartan Metro Star MFD flat roof chassis. It features a powerful Cummins L9 engine with 450 horsepower and an Allison 3000EVS automatic transmission for smooth performance. The chassis includes an EMS cabinet in the rear of the cab and a Groenveld automatic greasing system to keep maintenance simple and efficient.

The pump is a high-performance Hale QMAX 1500-GPM unit, paired with a FoamPro 2001 dual tank foam injection system. It provides water through three crosslays, one Front Bumper discharge, three 2½-inch discharges, one 3-inch LDH discharge with a 5-inch Storz adapter, a deck gun with an Akron Apollo monitor, and a Hannay booster hose reel. A 6-inch rear suction inlet ensures quick water intake during emergencies.

The pump control panel is located on the side of the truck, featuring a Vernier throttle and a Hale Total Pressure Master (TPM) relief valve system for precise pressure management. The water tank is a 1500-gallon UPF poly tank with two 25-gallon foam cells, providing ample capacity for extended operations.

The body is made entirely of extruded aluminum, with hinged doors and a single Gortite roll-up door at the rear. Black Line-X coating is applied to steps, catwalks, and panels for durability and a clean look. The compartments are equipped with adjustable shelves, slide-out trays, and PAC-TRAC tool boards for organized storage.

Ladders are stored on the passenger side using a Ziamatic dual-arm ladder rack, which also holds two lengths of hard suction hose. The hose bed has a hinged aluminum diamond plate cover with vinyl flap enclosures for easy access and protection. A Smartpower HR-15, 15kW hydraulic generator supplies 120/240VAC power, including two Hannay electric cable reels with 200 feet of 10/4 cable and a Circle D junction box on each reel. A Command Light CL602A-W4 LED light tower adds visibility during night operations.

The warning lights are all Whelen Super LED, ensuring maximum visibility and safety on the road. This fire engine is not only well-equipped but also designed for efficiency, reliability, and long-term use in the field.
