Emerson's new Micro Motion F-series high-temperature flowmeter>
Emerson Process Management has launched the MicroMotion F Series high-temperature products, marking a significant expansion of its high-temperature Coriolis flowmeter portfolio. These new instruments are designed to meet the demanding needs of industries that require precise and reliable flow measurement in extreme conditions.
In combination with the well-regarded ELITE high-temperature instrumentation, the F-Series extends the range of available sizes for high-temperature applications. The flowmeters are available in 316L stainless steel from 6mm (1/4") up to 100mm (4"), or in Hastelloy C-22 (excluding the 4" size). The electronic components are positioned at the rear of the flexible tube, isolated from the heat of the sensor, allowing for flexible installation options with any compatible transmitter.
Unlike other Coriolis meters, which may lose accuracy at varying flow rates, MicroMotion flowmeters equipped with MVD technology maintain consistent precision across the entire flow range. This eliminates issues like "zero stability" and ensures accurate measurements without additional uncertainties. The F-Series benefits from an enhanced sensor design and advanced MVD technology, making it one of the most accurate and reliable compact Coriolis meters available.
The F-Series is now available in F025, F050, and F100 models, made from either stainless steel or Hastelloy, and can operate at temperatures up to 350°C. Its compact and self-venting design ensures optimal performance in challenging environments.
These high-temperature Coriolis meters are ideal for applications involving heavy oils, asphalt, polymers, waxes, and other difficult-to-control materials that require precise temperature management. They allow users to measure accurately even when traditional flowmeters would fail due to high-temperature process media.
