1. In the cascade test, the low-voltage windings of the second and third test transformers shall be X-terminal, and the F-ends of the measurement windings and the X-end (high-voltage end) of the high-voltage windings shall be connected to the test transformer housing of this stage. The outer shell of the second and third test transformers must be grounded through the insulating bracket.

2. Pick up the working circuit according to your test. The test transformer housing and the operating system housing must be reliably grounded. The X terminal (high voltage tail) of the high-voltage winding of the test transformer and the F terminal of the measurement winding must be reliably grounded.

3. Before the power is turned on, the voltage regulator of the operating system must be turned to the zero position to turn on the power, switch on, and start boosting.

4. From zero, rotate the regulator handwheel at a constant speed to boost the pressure. Boosting methods include: fast boosting method, that is, 20s step-by-step boosting method; slow boosting method, that is, 60s step-by-step boosting method; extremely slow boosting method for selection. The voltage rises from zero from a certain boost mode and speed up to 75% of the rated test voltage you need, then rises to the required test voltage at 2% of the rated test voltage per second and pays close attention to the measurement. If the indicator of the measuring instrument and the abnormal condition of the tested product are found during the boosting process or during the test, the pressure shall be immediately depressurized, the power shall be cut off, and the situation shall be ascertained.
