At the beginning of 2006, Yuchai started the diesel hybrid research project. In August 2007, the diesel hybrid research project with complete independent intellectual property rights and cooperation between Yuchai and Shanghai Jiaotong University passed the acceptance and became the first domestic parallel single-axis (ISG). ) The results of the technical city bus powertrain. In May 2008, Yuchai's first diesel engine was put into use. Yuchai City passenger vehicle hybrid power is based on diesel engine and motor together as the driving force of the vehicle. When accelerating, the motor is used as the power source, and the auxiliary engine maintains strong dynamics; at deceleration, the motor functions as a generator to recover the braking energy. This power adopts the ISG technology route and has reached the international frontier level. The four-cylinder engine achieves the acceleration effect of the six-cylinder engine, and at the same time, the fuel consumption under urban conditions is reduced by about 20%. At present, new energy vehicles are the key research and development direction of China. General Secretary Hu Jintao also made important instructions on the development of new energy vehicles during the two sessions in 2009. The Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Science and Technology have started pilot projects for energy-saving and new energy vehicles in 13 cities since March. The goal is to use new energy vehicles in public transport systems in 13 cities or more within 6 to 3 years to reach 6 10,000 cars.
