Product development is getting a cloud-powered shot in the arm with AnyCAD in Fusion 360

The Autodesk Product Design & Manufacturing Collection has once again upped its game by integrating AnyCAD technology, blending the best of cloud-based and desktop capabilities. This advancement ensures that users can seamlessly work across different platforms without the hassle of complex file conversions. Take a look at the image below. The AnyCAD preview in Fusion 360 lets users maintain full associativity with Inventor and SolidWorks data. Soon, we'll be expanding support to include additional formats like Creo, NX, and even non-native ones such as IGES and STEP. Back in August, we significantly enhanced the collection by adding Nastran nonlinear simulation and 5-axis CAM to Inventor—all at no extra charge. This move transformed the collection into a comprehensive solution covering every stage of product development, from initial concept through engineering and simulation to computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) and fabrication. Now, we're taking things further by bringing AnyCAD to Fusion 360. This opens up new possibilities for interoperability within the Product Design & Manufacturing Collection. As a bonus, we’re also offering a sneak peek at our latest Nesting Utility for Collection subscribers, helping them maximize material usage during manufacturing. You might relate to the frustration of trying to fit a generic coffee pod into your Keurig machine—some companies prioritize profits over customer convenience. Traditionally, CAD tools mirrored this approach with proprietary file formats that either required expensive translations or didn't translate at all. Autodesk is addressing this issue head-on with AnyCAD. Introduced in 2015 for Inventor, it allowed CAD data from almost any source to be incorporated into Inventor designs without translation. This fostered smooth collaboration between Inventor and other CAD systems, freeing designers to focus on creativity rather than technical hurdles. With AnyCAD now available in Fusion 360, collaboration extends throughout the entire Product Design & Manufacturing Collection. Data can flow bidirectionally, enabling users to harness the strengths of Inventor alongside the cloud-powered Fusion 360. Whether you prefer desktop, cloud-based, or web applications, AnyCAD ensures the right tool is always accessible at the perfect moment in your design process. "Everyone benefits from this upgrade," said Stephen Hooper, Senior Director of Business Strategy and Marketing at Autodesk. "By placing your data at the heart of a unified ecosystem, AnyCAD provides easy access to the advanced tools and technologies our customers need to embrace the future of manufacturing." We understand that many of our clients rely on third-party software. With AnyCAD, you can incorporate SolidWorks data into both Inventor and Fusion 360 while preserving full associativity. Meanwhile, Inventor users can already import major formats like Siemens NX and PTC Creo; these will soon be available in Fusion 360 as well. So, why not subscribe? Another exciting addition is the preview release of the Autodesk Nesting Utility. Designed for manufacturers, it optimizes the use of materials like sheet metal, plastics, composites, and wood for part production. Like previous integrations such as Nastran and HSM, this utility operates directly within the Inventor interface. Its introduction underscores our commitment to delivering more value and a streamlined workflow to the Product Design & Manufacturing Collection—for free. As always, we strive to provide innovative solutions that empower creators and manufacturers alike. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue pushing boundaries in digital design and manufacturing.

Injection Molding

Plastic Injection Molding Factory. We are advanced China Plastic Injection Molding manufacturers. Our Plastic Injection Molding manufacturing methods are extremely accurate and fast. They can provide unlimited rapid prototype plastic injection molding capabilities for a wide variety of high-volume products. The method is also used for low volume, high-quality plastic parts for everything from toy cars to giant television screens. Rapid prototyping is the process of designing and creating a new product or component using plastic injection molds. It is a critical process because it helps identify new product characteristics by testing them over again before a product goes to production.Plastic injection molds allow designers and engineers to create detailed models from digital designs that can then be brought to life into a physical product. This kind of design sharing provides a tremendous advantage for companies trying to reduce product development costs.
Many rapid injection molding tools include tools that are designed to assist the manufacturer with their overall production efforts. These tools can offer you a number of additional services including computer software designed to help you streamline your production efforts and increase your profitability. By streamlining your efforts, you can expect to see a significant increase in your production rate and efficiency.
RongNa offer OEM/ODM custom rapid prototype plastic injection tooling which can help you reduce the time necessary to create new parts and can save you valuable money on material costs.
