New multifunctional water treatment agent passed the identification
On January 18, a new multi-functional water treatment agent project developed by Tianlong Water Treatment Technology Co., Ltd., under the Sinochem Chemical Science and Technology Research Institute, was officially recognized in Beijing by a panel of experts organized by China National Chemical Corporation. This milestone marks a significant advancement in the field of sustainable water treatment solutions.
The company focused on addressing key challenges in traditional water treatment processes, such as limited functionality, lengthy procedures, and high production costs. By using starch as a primary raw material, they successfully developed an innovative water treatment agent that combines pre-film formation, corrosion inhibition, and scale prevention in one product. A production facility with an annual capacity of 500 tons has been established, supporting the commercialization of this environmentally friendly solution.
The product is fully biodegradable, making it a promising alternative to conventional chemical treatments. It is designed for use across various water systems, including open and closed-loop cooling systems, chilled water systems, and heating systems. Additionally, it is compatible with different water types, such as industrial water, softened water, and purified water.
