1 gold ore flotation

The method is widely used to treat base metal ores and separate various sulfide ores, as well as to remove lean gangue. Typically in a series of flotation operations, gold is associated with a product and is recovered in subsequent sulphide concentrate smelting and refining of metal products, or by cyanide-fired concentrate. Foam flotation can be used to separate gold and sulfide minerals from finely ground pulp.

Practice has shown that the use of a mixed collector (a mixture of dodecyltrithiocarbonate (C12-TTC) and sodium isobutylxanthate (SIBX)) is more than a single collector SIBX flotation of gold. The effect is better, the single flotation process indicator is not as good as the joint process. Because the flotation does not recover the coarse free gold well, and the amalgam can recover this part of the gold well, the flotation + amalgam combined process is one of the means to improve the gold recovery rate.

Re-election is used as a simple method for recovering gold from raw ore (if natural gold is present in the coarse particles) or as a method of preconcentration of gold or gold-containing compounds, followed by other beneficiation methods (eg, amalgamation, cyanide).

The re-election method recovers gold, and generally uses a combined process of re-election and flotation to select the concentrate to recover gold by amalgamation.
