They also showcased a mini-pumper mounted on rubber tracks. Rosenbauer made waves with their introduction of the Smart Cab, a clever solution for adding a crew area to vehicles built on commercial chassis. Crimson, following their recent acquisition of Classic Fire, debuted their Transformer model on a commercial chassis. American LaFrance made headlines by announcing that their Eagle custom chassis and LTI aerials are now available for other manufacturers. E-ONE rounded out the event with the eMAX pumper series, which features a narrow operator’s panel for enhanced efficiency. Overall, FDIC 2011 was a testament to the ever-evolving landscape of firefighting technology and equipment.
