Delfast's New Direction

Delfast, the renowned electric bike brand, has announced a bold new strategy that shifts its focus toward developing a single, standout model. The company has chosen the TOP series as its flagship electric bike, marking a significant shift in its product lineup.

As part of this transition, Delfast will bid farewell to some of its most celebrated models, including the Prime (a Guinness World Record holder), the Offroad (named the e-bike of the year in 2019), the TOP 2.0 (a 2019 bestseller), and the Cross Dirt (which was often compared to Sur Ron). Starting November 1st, these B2C models will no longer be available for purchase. To celebrate their legacy, Delfast has launched a major clearance sale, running from October 1st through October 31st.

For Daniel Tonkopiy and Serhii Denysenko, the co-founders of Delfast, this decision represents a strategic move aimed at securing a brighter future for the company. The global pandemic provided an opportunity to reevaluate priorities and refine their approach. Despite strong sales across all models, the leadership team has decided to channel their resources into enhancing the TOP series, which currently accounts for 81% of their sales.

"This is a solid business move," said Daniel. "We're doubling down on what works best for our customers, and that’s the TOP. We’re committed to making it the ultimate electric bike."

Delfast is now fully focused on creating an exceptional TOP model that will set a new standard in terms of performance, speed, design, comfort, and innovation. The aim is to deliver an electric bike that exceeds customer expectations while remaining unmatched in the market.

This new direction doesn't mean neglecting other segments. The Trike, a B2B model, will continue to be manufactured and sold as planned. Additionally, the Delfast team remains active in the B2G sector, with the development of the specialized TopCop model—designed for law enforcement—still progressing. This version of the TOP series is tailored specifically for police use.

Despite the changes, Delfast remains steadfast in its commitment to its customers. All existing orders placed prior to or during the sale will be honored and delivered as scheduled. Customer service and warranties will continue as outlined in the user agreement, with a lifetime warranty offered for electric bikes purchased in 2020.

In conclusion, this shift reflects Delfast's determination to adapt and thrive in a competitive market. By concentrating on their strongest product, they hope to redefine what an electric bike can offer. Fans of Delfast’s older models still have a chance to own one of these legendary bikes during the final sale period.
