There was a significant negative correlation with brown rice rate r=-0.322, and a significant positive correlation with imperfect grain rate r=0.272. It can be seen that the general higher whitening rate is due to the high germ retention rate, which coincides with the above analysis. The higher the degree of grinding, that is, the whiter rice grains, the less the remaining germs. In the rice milling process, the lower the brown rice rate, the higher the imperfect grain rate, and the negative correlation between the two. The experimental results showed that the rate of remaining embryos was negatively correlated with the rate of brown rice, and was positively correlated with the rate of imperfect grain rate, which coincided with the grinding characteristics of high germ retention rate of imperfect grains of rice. The correlation between the rate of retained embryos and the whiteness, the broken rice rate, and the grain type of brown rice is not high. In particular, grain size has little effect on the embryo retention rate of rice, indicating that the binding tightness between rice germ and rice grains is the only reason to stay. The main factors of embryo rate are high and low.

The rice appearance quality tester found that the correlation between retained embryo rate and whitening rate and polished rice whiteness was very good, and had a very significant positive correlation with the whitening rate, and was significantly negatively correlated with the whiteness of milled rice, and showed a significant difference with the brown rice rate.
