New engine for Franklin Park FD

From Fire Service Inc. on Facebook: Hey everyone! Just got some exciting news to share about a new addition to the Franklin Park Fire Department in Illinois. They’ve received their latest delivery—a brand-new Fouts Bros FB-94 low hose bed, side-mount pumper. This beauty is powered by a Cummins L9 engine delivering 450 horsepower. The electrical system is handled by the advanced Weldon V-Mux multiplex setup, which ensures smooth and efficient operation. The truck comes equipped with a 750-gallon water tank and a massive 1500-GPM Hale QMax pump, making it a powerhouse when it comes to firefighting capabilities. The warning lights are taken care of by a top-notch Whelen LED package, providing maximum visibility during emergencies. It also features an FRC Pump Boss Max Pressure Governor to optimize performance under varying conditions. The body of this fire truck is constructed using 3/16 inch aluminum, measuring 100 inches wide and 70 inches tall. This design not only ensures durability but also keeps the overall weight down without compromising strength. Check out these amazing photos below, courtesy of Fire Service Inc.
