**Principle**
When water enters the pipe, the plug stops at the lower part of the locating bracket to discharge a large amount of air. Once the air is completely discharged, water flows into the valve, causing the float ball to rise and close the plug, stopping the exhaust. Under normal operation, small amounts of gas may accumulate at the top of the pipe. When this occurs, the water level in the valve decreases, causing the float ball to drop, allowing air to be released through a small hole. In case of power failure or pump shutdown, when the water in the pipe is drained, negative pressure can develop. The float ball drops with the water, opening the small hole and allowing a large volume of air to enter through the large hole, ensuring pipeline safety.
**Note:** Not suitable for sewage pipelines.

**Air Vent Valves**

Some models incorporate features to prevent fuel from exiting during aircraft inversion.
