“We have engines with small displacements of 1.4, 2.8, 3.3, 3.8, and 4.5 liters, and the demand for passenger cars in China is very large, but we have not yet entered this market,” Wang Hongjie said. “If Cummins develops Diesel engines designed specifically for petrol vehicles, such as the 1.5-litre and 1.6-liter passenger car engines below two liters, must find a large partner and must have an economic scale, with an annual output of at least 500,000 vehicles."
