Beach Park gets help after storms

The severe storms that swept through the area on Monday evening left a trail of destruction across multiple communities. In response, Beach Park officials activated a MABAS Box Alarm to request additional support for cleanup and recovery efforts in their district. As emergency crews mobilized, local resident Jeff Rudolph captured several images from the staging area at Beach and Sheridan, offering a firsthand look at the situation. One of the photos shows Beach Park Fire Department's ambulance 1242, stationed as part of the response team. Another image highlights the Lake County Quad 2 Mobile Command Post, which served as a central hub for coordination during the incident. A third photo features Buffalo Grove Quint 27, one of the mutual aid units that arrived to assist with the damage. Additionally, Lake Forest Utility 241 was seen on site, providing essential support during the recovery process. Jeff also captured a shot of the various mutual aid companies gathered at the staging area, showcasing the collaborative effort between different departments to address the aftermath of the storm. These images not only document the scale of the damage but also reflect the dedication of first responders working to restore normalcy to the affected neighborhoods.
