Beach Park gets help after storms

The severe storms that swept through the area on Monday evening left a trail of destruction across several communities. In response, Beach Park officials activated a MABAS Box Alarm to request additional support for cleanup and emergency response efforts in their district. As part of the coordination, Jeff Rudolph, a local resident and volunteer, shared some photos taken from the staging area located at Beach and Sheridan, giving a firsthand look at the situation on the ground. One image shows the Beach Park Fire Department's ambulance 1242, positioned as part of the relief effort. Another photo captures the Lake County Quad 2 Mobile Command Post, which was set up to manage the response and coordinate resources effectively. A third shot highlights the Buffalo Grove Quint 27, one of the mutual aid units that arrived to assist with the damage. Additionally, the Lake Forest Utility 241 is seen preparing for deployment, showing the multi-agency collaboration taking place. Finally, a photo of the staging area reveals multiple mutual aid companies gathered, ready to support the affected areas. These images provide a visual account of the coordinated response following the storm, showcasing the community’s resilience and the importance of preparedness in times of crisis.
