Working fire in Mount Prospect, 4-7-21
On Wednesday, April 7th, 2021, at approximately 6:17 PM, the Mount Prospect Fire Department responded to a working fire at 1817 Tano Lane. The call came in as a structure fire, prompting immediate action from the department's crews. Firefighters arrived on scene quickly and began assessing the situation, working to contain the flames and ensure the safety of residents in the area.
A Pierce Dash CF PUC fire engine was deployed to the scene, as seen in the photo below. The unit played a key role in the response, supporting firefighters with water supply and other essential resources. The incident highlighted the importance of quick response times and the professionalism of the local emergency services.
The fire is believed to have been contained without any reported injuries. Residents in the vicinity were advised to stay alert and follow updates from local authorities. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
