I. Scope
The generator is sutable for 35KV or below 35KV voltage level standard full-wave lightning impulse voltage test of large capacity power transformers, transformers, reactors, arrester, switch, casing, insulator and other test materials.

  8. Impulse voltage waveform: it can give 4 lightning impulse waveform when load capacitance is below 300 ~ 2000pF:
      1) Standard lightning impulse voltage full wave: 1.2/50 μ S;
      2) Standard operating voltage impulse waveform: 250ms/2500ms;
      3) SVC-SVG-HVDC test special operating shock wave: 20/200us;
      4) SVC-SVG-HVDC test special shock wave oscillation: peak deviation ± 3%; Single peak value of oscillation and overshoot is less than the impulse waveform peak value of 5%. Lightning impulse voltage waveform parameters and its deviation shall comply with the relevant national GB311, GB/T16896.1 and GB16927 standards.

III. Construction:
1.The charging components: 
1) Constant Voltage charging device, rated output voltage ±100KV,  DC output: 10-100mA;
2) Oil-immersed charging transformers, transformer is without leakage of oil, primary voltage 200V, secondary voltage 42KV, rated capacitance 3KVA;
3) 2DL-100kV/100mA silicon high-voltage rectifier stack;
4) High-voltage silicon rectifier stack protection resistors enameled resistance wire wrapped around the insulation felt close drum;
5) Asymmetric double voltage charging
6) Constant current charging device: within 20% to 100% rated charge voltage range, the actual charging voltage and tuning voltage deviation  ≤± 1%,  charging voltage instability  ≤± 1%, adjustable charging voltage accuracy:1%.
7) DC resistance divider with 100kV, 200 megohm metal resistors immersed. Low-voltage arm resistance installed in the divider bottom flange, the low voltage signal arm with shielded cable into console.
8) Automatic ground switches solenoid points and ground agencies, testing stops automatically when the main capacitor through the protection resistance grounding.
9) The charging power supply device not only can be used as impulse voltage generator, but also it can be used as DC voltage generator to generate 100kV.

2. Main body parts:
(1) Main structure looks like HIGHVOLT type "H";
(2) The body adopts multi-voltage charging circuit, each stage rated voltage 100kV;
(3)The body insulating pillar has 4 stages tower structure,  each stage including MWF100-0.5 iron shell oil immersed pulse capacitor, charging resistance, wave front resistance, end wave resistance and ignition ball gap and so on, when lightning wave happened, it can select the appropriate lightning wave, wave front resistance,end wave resistance and stage number as per DUT's capacity.
(4) Single pulse capacitor: 2*2.67UF*50KV, DC voltage:100kV, capacitor residual inductance 0.15H, capacitance bushing withstand vertical pull 15kg, ensure that no damage and no oil.
(5) Wave front resistance, end wave resistance adopts slab shape structure, non inductive winding.
(6) Connectors adopts spring pressure type, convenient to adjust waveform and contact reliability;
(7) Front wave/end wave resistance supports can be used in parallel;
(8) The first ball gap uses bilateral heteropolar trigger, ball gap from second stage to the fourth stage uses three elliptical sphere gap ignition, to ensure the trigger reliability;
(9) Each stage ball gap distance make linear adjustment under low-speed permanent magnet motor driveing, low noise, non inertial, accurate, fast, control display discharge voltage corresponding to the ball distance;
(10) Ball gap distance can also be controlled by human intervention;
(11) 2 stages or multi-stages of main body can be used as in parallel;
(12)The body pillars are made of glass steel material, the highest potential is used by anti-aging and corona.

3. Capacitive Divider:
It consists of two capacitors, rated parameters 400KV/300pF each, rated lightning impulse withstand voltage 400KV;
Divider ratio: 1000:1;
Uncertainty of measurement: < ± 1%;

4.Control unit:

1) Tektronix TDS1012 digital double channel storage Oscilloscope as following parameters:
    Input voltage <300 volts;
    Bandwidth: 100MHZ;
    Vertical resolution: 9bits;
    Channel number: 2 storage length 10K/ per channel;

2) Computer: 1 piece
3) Printer: 1 piece
4) Automatic measurement software: 1set
5) Console and isolation filter, double shielded testing cable (more than 10 meters in length) ...
