China's construction machinery has huge potential for growth in foreign markets

With the domestic companies gradually representing the internationally leading technology products, the position of the Chinese construction machinery industry in the world has undergone tremendous changes, and the demand for products from various countries has continuously increased. According to statistics of the General Administration of Customs, from January to April 2011, the import and export volume of construction machinery in China was 7.897 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of 50.1% over the previous year. The import amount was 3.69 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of 46.5% over the previous year; the export value was 4.2 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of 53.3% over the previous year, and the trade surplus was 510 million U.S. dollars, an increase from the previous month. Among them, the cumulative total exports of 2.71 billion US dollars, an increase of 52.5% over the previous year, accounting for 64.5% of total exports; parts exports 1.49 billion US dollars, accounting for 35.5% of total exports, an increase of 54.8% over the previous year. In February, March, and April, the cumulative increase in exports was 37.4%, 50.9%, and 59.3%, respectively, an increase that was significant.
