On December 1st, Brembo Group Co., Ltd. and Donghua Automotive Industry Co., Ltd., a member company of SAIC Motor, a leading manufacturer of passenger cars and commercial vehicles in China, signed a preliminary agreement to purchase casting factories and equipment for 8.5 million euros. To establish a new Brembo integrated manufacturing center in Nanjing, including foundry and processing plants for the manufacture of brake calipers and brake discs for cars and commercial vehicles.

The reporter was informed that in order to operate this project, Brebo Group Co., Ltd. has established a new wholly-owned subsidiary, Breeper Foundry (Nanjing) Co., Ltd., which has a registered capital of 100 million yuan (approximately equivalent to 10 million euros). .

After the final approval of the Chinese authorities, the agreement signed between Brembo Group Co., Ltd. and Donghua Automotive Industry Co., Ltd. will take effect on January 15, 2010.

The new manufacturing center will be put into operation in early 2010, and the manufacturing center will have a new processing facility to develop an integrated manufacturing system that can supply high-quality, high-tech braking systems for the Chinese market.

In order to keep up with the growing pace of the Chinese automotive market, Brembo Group will add approximately 20 million Euros to the foundry between 2011 and 2014.

At the same time, the joint venture Breeper Brake Systems (Nanjing) Co., Ltd. (Breheber Group and Donghua Motor Industry Co., Ltd. owns 70% and 30% of the company's equity, respectively) will invest an additional 20 million euros to expand the current Capacity.

At present, Breibur Braking Systems (Nanjing) Co., Ltd. has approximately 300 employees and is expected to achieve a revenue of 22 million Euros in 2009 and will achieve profitability (before EBIT).
