Automatic potentiometric titrator basic operation steps

1. Remove the pH electrode from the saturated KCl solution and rinse it with distilled water.

2. Insert the pipette into distilled water and insert the buret into the waste bottle.

3. Turn on the power of the main unit and the agitator; and start the work program.

4. Click “Parameters” on the working program interface to set the parameters. Arrange settings for the titration.

5. Click the "Send" button on the operation page, enter the volume (20-50ML) Press "Send" is the pipe full of liquid.

6. See if there is a bubble, if there is bubble needle into the quantitative tube to aspirate gas.

7. Insert the pipette into the standard solution again; insert the burette into the test solution, place a magnetic stirrer in the test solution and lower the stirrer. Repeat step 5 above.

8. Insert the washed PH electrode into the liquid to be measured, which is the tip immersion liquid.

9. When the electrode potential is substantially stable, start the measurement procedure on the operator interface.

10. The instrument draws a curve on the screen while titrating. At the end of the titration, the instrument automatically calculates the end point volume, the end point potential and the concentration of the liquid to be measured.

11. After the end of the measurement, take out the electrode and rinse it. Then put it back into the KCL saturated liquid and turn it off. Turn off the titrator and the computer. Turn off the power and end the operation.
