Asian rubber prices hold steadily for tire processors busy purchasing

According to news from Singapore on September 24, spot rubber prices in Asia are mostly stable on Friday, and the market is relatively quiet. Because China is on holiday, some rubber factories in the world's largest consumer countries are still bidding.

Thailand's RSS3 rubber traded at US$3,630 per ton, CIF, shipped to China in October. STR20CV rubber is priced at US$3,580 per ton, FOB, shipped to Japanese tire makers in November.

In October/November shipments of Thailand's No. 3 smoke tablet rubber RSS3 were reported at 358-364 cents per kilogram, compared with 359-362 cents per kilogram in the previous trading day.

In October/November, Thailand's tire grade standard STR20 was reported at 356-360 cents per kilogram, compared with 356-358 cents per kilogram in the previous trading day.

In November/December, Indonesia's tire grade standard rubber SIR20 was reported at 343-344 cents per kilogram, compared with 341-343 cents per kilogram in the previous trading day.

In November/December, Malaysia's tire grade standard rubber SMR20 was reported at 350 cents per kilogram, 350 cents per kilogram in the previous trading day.
