In order to implement the Guiding Opinions on Enhancing the Credit Construction of Industrial Products jointly issued by six departments including the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, to further promote the implementation of brand strategy in the petroleum and chemical industry, strengthen the construction of independent brands, and improve the quality of petroleum and chemical products. In terms of quality reputation, the China Petrochemical Federation has formulated and issued the “Measures for the Administration of Well-known Branded Products of Petroleum and Chemicals†and decided to organize the selection and promotion of well-known brand products from the beginning of this year. In June this year, the China Petrochemical Federation announced the relevant evaluation catalogue, application conditions and physical quality indicators, and determined that 30 products such as pumping units were included in this year's evaluation list.
A total of 121 products from 99 companies were filed on the basis of voluntary applications by companies. The 45 experts recommended by the China Petrochemical Federation, professional associations, and large group companies have conducted reviews of well-known brand products.
2010 petrochemical industry brand products released
After a comprehensive review, 82 products of 72 companies were recently recommended as the 2010 well-known brands in the petroleum and chemical industry. They are now publicized on the website of the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation and the deadline for public announcement is October 21.
